While I am happy for the both of them, I feel I must know express my deep concerns with regards to having both of them on the Atlas. Might not be the best thing, this place seems to have a way with relationships. Building them up and then tearing them down. Just something for you two, to ponder.

Erm, I've been a member since 2005! I see what you're getting at (I think) but the key is that I post quite sparingly, and only very rarely about politics Grin

Well, in that case, I would hope it wouldn't be a problem. Good luck to the both of you. Smiley

Well, you can always have a wedding ceremony, and call yourselves married.  It just won't have any legal standing.

Which is kind of what I thought Andrew and Chris were doing.........does the UK have actual legal gay marriage now?

Well, marriage is impossible for them. UK only has registered civil partnerships, but they can hold a unofficial ceremony, for sure, like Fritz said.

The UK still only has Civil Unions, but it's marriage in anything but the name.

And nothing is forcing you to stay in the South forever, Keller. You guys could always move to Iowa and get married there.

Poor Andrew. Not admitted to his own wedding. Sad
