Remember how Clinton supporters said they'd never vote for Obama in the general?  I wonder if the heated primary is artificially deflating Crist's general election prospects.

Probably.

"The reason for the difference is that 79% of conservatives support Rubio but only 62% say Crist can count on their vote. Twenty-four percent (24%) of conservatives say they’d prefer either a third party option or are undecided. If Crist were to win the nomination, it is likely that many of those voters would end up supporting him over Meek"

Rasmussen is the only pollster that has ever showed Rubio outperforming Crist in general and he continues to be the only one showing that. I'm sure people will have fun speculating on why that is.

Who else has polled the race besides the ever reliable Kos polls?

Quinnipiac in October, they had Meek up by 3 against Rubio, mainly because Rubio only led by a couple points among Indies, whereas he`s up 2:1 in the Rasmussen poll.

2010 is shaping up as bad for the Congressional Democrats and I believe the Rasmussen numbers more than the Quinnipiac ones. Remember that Indies already broke 2:1 for the Republicans in the November Governor races ...
