About time. This is of course the raison d'être of TRS, but, IIRC, the TDP has adopted it as well.

So what will be the capital of Andhra now?

For those wondering what area we are talking about:



Mahbubnagar to Khammam and points north is Telangana. The boundary is identical to the former boundary between Madras Province and the princely state of Hyderabad.

Vishakhapatnam is the only city in Andhra I've heard of, so I'll go with that.

On another forum i saw Vijawayda said as possible by some posters in a india sub forum. its not on the map that was posted but its near guntar on the map and is the third largest city in Andhra after Hyderabad and Vishakhapatnam. The reason its probably not on that map is i think that is probably administrative division seats rather than largest cities.

Vishakhapatnam will probably be the capital but Guntur or Vijaywada could be alternatives.
