Well, another stupid election that I thought of (at least on the Republican nomination).
It's the year 2000.
Vice-President to Bill Clinton Al Gore easily wins the Democratic Nomination as in real life. However Gore chooses Senator Barbara Mikulski of Maryland as his running mate, under Bill Clinton's suggestion thus making Mikulski a potential to be the first female vice-president.
On the Republican side, billionaire businessman and libertarian conservative Steve Forbes wins the Republican Nomination in a tight battle. He picks ex Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld as his running mate, thus creating a businessman-military general combinaton. Kinda scary, isn't it?
Ralph Nader still runs as a Green with Winona La Duke as his running mate.
The candidates for this unusual 2000 election are as follows:
Al Gore/Barbara Mikulski (Democrats)
Steve Forbes/Donald Rumsfeld (Republicans)
Ralph Nader/Winona LaDuke (Greens)
Note: There's no Bush running, so Jeb Bush doesn't make any arrangements here, okay?
