At what point do you find yourself reaching the, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore..." level?  I mean where politics are concerned...not traffic or barking dogs at three a.m.

I think I am getting there with the constant drumbeat about communism, socialism, death panels, etc.

Maybe for you, it's something entirely different.  This thread is for all my torqued off friends in all parties...

Whenever I feel that our inept and corrupt government can't do any worse, yet she always surprises me.

Latest example, the recent forrest fires. And to add insult to injury, the press secretary declaring with a straight face that "trees are the main culprit for the rapid spread of the fire"!

For me, it's listening to all the socialists complain about complaints against socialism.

I've been known to scream at the TV from time to time when the total and embarrassing stupidity of most Americans is on full display.

"I don't want my country turning into Russia!"

in the end, no matter how much good Social Security and Medicare do, they are pyramid schemes.  Furthermore, these pyramid schemes have given younger Americans a false sense of security, which has led to several generations of spenders instead of savers.

That was the whole point of the project, jmfcst.

The debate on health care has really sucked - on both sides.  It's been awful.

Nothing, really. I don't get mad often. What might make me mad about America is really stuff I've come to expect.

When the Democrats started attacking average Americans I gave a 40-minute rant to my mom about why the congress needs to lose it's paycheck, vacations and rights since they love taking ours and aobut universal healthcare.

Which is shocking coming on the heels of the reasoned debate over climate change and the war in Iraq.

As do I, but not for the rant, however.

At what point do you find yourself reaching the, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore..." level?

On the day after Election Day 1988.

Expecting progress while exactly the same power structure is in place - the same privileged sitting in the same mansion, the same police state enforcing their rule upon the rest - is a kind of madness.
