Kind of like HuffPo and Daily Kos.

A good place to check to get the latest party line from the left.

Eh... at least they are fair and balanced, even if they freak me the hell out. Basically Fox News for Democrats...or is that Comedy Central?

Yeah, Politico really doesn't have a liberal bias, at all.

They're good for more detailed process stories and the like, I suppose.

Not as classy as Roll Call or as boring as CQ.  Sort of the downmarket (not that that's a bad thing) Capitol Hill paper.  Like a Congressional New York Post.

To say that POLITICO has a liberal bias is absurd.

You mean more than a tabloid, but less than a full newspaper. Sort of like a thing that is more than a vest...but less than a sweater....like what that kid's show on Nickelodeon a few years ago. Doug?

it seems pretty weird indeed to accuse Politico of being noticeably left-wing, especially considering, like, who runs the place, how they donated to George Bush's campaigns, and how POLITICO's operating philosophy is to skew their article titles so that they get Drudge links.

I still love them though.  I've been known rarely to get an occasional story that I like posted on the side blogs and Glenn Thrush told me I was very politically informed for a hockey coach, who I guess has the same name as me as the result of his Google search, Tongue  I don't do that any more since there's a 12 hour time difference and I don't get any good digs

It is a valuable site for political gossip, a fair amount of which actually proves to be true.  The challenge is separating the wheat from the chaff.

A recent headline from Politico:

"Barack Obama vows further deficit-cutting"

ROTFLMAO!
