Gov. Bill Ritter Approval Rating:

40% Approve
45% Disapprove

2010 General Election:

Scott McInnis (R): 46%
Bill Ritter (D): 38%

Josh Penry (R): 40%
Bill Ritter (D): 40%

Favorable Ratings:

McInnis: 30% Favorable, 25% Unfavorable
Penry: 23% Favorable, 20% Unfavorable

PPP surveyed 969 Colorado voters from August 14th to 16th. The survey’s margin of error is +/-3.2%. Other factors, such as refusal to be interviewed and weighting, may introduce additional error that is more difficult to quantify.

I am not all that surprised, the republicans were always going to target CO and VA as to resurge their political prospects.

Like in the Senate, let's imagine in 2010, after health care, Afghanistan even more troubled, and controversial climate plans...
The GOP may well come back a bit in CO.
