More importantly, the "Cannabis Is Safer Than Alcohol" party increased its vote by 0.1% this time around

I find it hard that every UKIP voter is voting strategically, I have no idea how its possible but it looks like that is exactly what is happening.

In close seats, conservatives are getting 1-3% swings in their favor almost everywhere.

The 538 forecast is now 325 for Tories.

I saw that, too.  Then I realized that they had 50+ for the Lib Dems.

Tories are back down to 298 on 538's website.

EDIT:

Something's wrong with the 538 numbers.  They're fluctuating wildly.  I really don't think this is right:

So 538 is now Dick Morris?

I believe that is called Karl Rove math

So, what, LDs should end with around 5 seats?

Maybe less

The one thing i've noticed in British politics: they don't throw softballs to candidates on TV. They go right after them and push them into awkward answers.

Hilarious

I know! I wish the U.S. journalists did that.

Too many softballs in the US, give us the awkwardness that has been this election

LibDems hold Orkney to the surprise of nobody.

RIP SNP CLEAN SWEEP 2K15-2K15
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Does Orkney count as Scotland? I guess its geographical semantics more than anything.

Another broad observation on UK elections...I find it so interesting that they have the candidates up there and they get their votes announced publicly. Seems a bit like the teacher reading everyones grades in front of the class, which feels a bit awkward at first but I actually kind of like it.

Almost like a sporting event rather than an election.

St Ives comes in, Tory gain from Lib Dems

Pretty much the story of the night.

We had 2 major developments

1) Rise of SNP: hurt labor disproportionately
2) Collapse of Lib Dems: helps conservatives disproportionately
3) Rise of UKIP: FPTP prevents this from being an issue in tandem with strategic voting
