Honestly, I continue to think Mcco will be reelected. He has a big machine behind him.

Seems a little quick on the part of Cook.

Cook has the dumbest Senate rankings out of the Big 3.

He has Iowa as a Toss-Up, and Minnesota and Michigan in the same ranking as Arkansas, Louisiana, and Alaska.

Don't even get me started on how he treats Hawaii like a swing state in every election.

For  Cook:  Arkansas is a toss up, Iowa lean dem. Wink
But I agree for KY, it's not a toss up

Honestly, I don't see Bevin under 30%.
But his biggest problem I guess is voter registration:

7 If you are a Democrat, press 1. If a Republican,
press 2. If an independent or identify with
another party, press 3.
Democrat 53% ........................................................
Republican 37% ......................................................
 11% Independent/Other..................................

So thr KY Republican party has probably strong tea party ties.

And an another for Mcconnell:
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion
of the Tea Party?
Favorable 41% ........................................................
Unfavorable 42% ....................................................
Not sure 17%
And it's not just the Republican party, it's the state.

So, he will survive I guess, but he should be worried, Bevin could easily rise. Honestly, I think he will get 40%.

Can we post stuff about the House races here, too?

The Democrat running against Barr in CD6, Joe Palumbo, dropped his bid at the end of last week.

I'm not sure if Democrats have a candidate for this seat now. Grimes would likely carry this district even in a single-digit loss to McConnell, so Democrats really need to step up recruitment here.
Democrats should challenge Barr, according to PPP, this seat is winnable!

Bill Clinton campaigning for Grimes later this month.

Rand Paul says that candidates that took money from Clinton should give it back because of...Monica Lewinsky.

Wow. He will always be a troll.

Wouldn't it just be a kick in the can if McConnell was defeated by and succeeded by someone even more right-wing than him? I remember McConnell during his first term and hoping back then that he would be defeated - but not by somebody like Bevin.

That would be totally, completely unacceptable in a democratic republic.
Bandit, time to go on strike!

Bevin will inevitably be using this line to rile up support/fundraising:
