Er, I strongly doubt a senator from Connecticut is the most liberal member of the Senate.
He's tied with Schatz and Schumer for that, but still.

The National Journal's rankings of the most liberal and conservative senators are a complete joke.  It measures it by how often they vote the party line.  The idea that Schumer is anywhere near as liberal  as Blumenthal, Warren, Sanders, Leahy, Whitehouse, Wyden, Baldwin, etc. is utterly laughable.  They should be called the biggest party hack senators.
