Their podiums were pretty far apart.

Oh God, just realized that if Trump does get it and it's not a bad case, he's going to tell his millions of drooling followers that it is in fact a hoax.  expect more super spreader events if this is the case.  Really happy Virginia is no longer a battleground state but feel bad for those of you who live in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.

It's probably not to excuse the debate as Trump didn't complain of any symptoms then or now.  It might actually deter Biden from a future debate though.  I kind of think this is real and unsurprising, they are recklessly disregarding the science on this.

So this means he won’t campaign for the next two weeks? I’ll believe it when I see it.

It's only going to take 24 hours at the absolute max for Trump to get test results. If he tests positive, of course, then things will be different.

4 years with Trump has already felt much longer than Obama 8 years in office lol

I say this to people all the time.  After 8 years the other party usually wins because there's an itch for change after that long.  Trump is basically running as a 4 term incumbent.

I'm not about to conclude that the White House wouldn't do something just because it would be stupid and likely wouldn't work.

But getting Walter Reed involved does change things. More chances for leaks, and a lot more people who haven't passed Donald's debased loyalty tests. When it was "he'll quarantine in the WH" I think it was reasonable to be skeptical, given this administration's track record with the truth. Now, I'm convinced he has it, and the only thing we'll probably be lied to about is his actual condition.

I don't think he's faking it.  He's acted recklessly and he got covid.  I also doubt all these other Republicans are faking it as part of a big conspiracy.  The Amy Coney Barrett event was a super spreader event and these people all got it bad.
