If you look at the last 6 elections. Democrats have won 18 states + DC all 6 times. These states only total 242 electoral votes, and a lot of them like Minnesota and Pennsylvania the GOP is going to win next election for sure.
That means Democrats start out needing a huge 28 electoral votes at BEST in the next election.
To put this in perspective, that means they need to win Florida!! A state that has only gone Democrat in 3 of the last 6 elections.
Or, they'd need to sweep New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, and Virginia... all these states are clearly trending Republican and btw Hispanics almost never vote.
Or they'd have to win Ohio, New Hampshire, and Iowa... and lets be honest, when was the last time any of these states went Democrat?
On the other hand, over the last 6 elections, Republicans have won states totaling a massive 128 electoral votes all 6 times. This puts them practically halfway to 270 alone!!! And none of those states are trending Democrat, for instance, Georgia and Arizona are way way way more Republican now than they were 10 years ago.
So anyone who says we are in some kind of "alignment" helping democrats. You're clearly crazy and there are absolutely no facts to support this. You don't even need to look to the electoral college to prove this is the case. Just look at how well Republicans have done with the popular vote over the last 6 elections:
1992: D+ 5.8 million 1996: D+ 8.2 million 2000: D+ .5 million 2004: R+ 3 million 2008: D+ 9.5 million 2012: D+ 5 million
This means Democrats have only won the popular vote by 5 million on average over the last 20 years!! When you factor in the 10 million+ fraudulent votes that uniformly go to Democrats each and every election cycle, it proves how much the real America is voting GOP.
Anyone who disputes my reasoned analysis lives in Washington, DC or San Francisco and just can't reason with a genius like me btw.
Sincerely,
Hey Guys Look At Me I Can Troll Too!!! zomg
