how can someone be outraged at social conservatism in America but freak out about what trump says about islam in a speech in truly barbarous nations?

It's moral inconsistency. Why does muhammad in saudi arabia not deserve scorn for keeping his wife like a slave and wrapped up like a burrito, but john smith in ohio deserves hate for opposing certain parts of feminism?

How is it a non-sequiter? How can someone who respects LGBT rights, women rights, and rights of other marginalized people, not be upset if we go to these places and kiss the feet of a religion that in its current form is undoubtedly a problem.

I don't understand how Atlas members can say that this "incident" does not hurt our national security.
If other nations refuse to share any future intelligence information with us (because of the actions of the orange-haired clown), then this can have serious deadly consequences for many American soldiers, operatives and civilians in coming years.

CNN's Jake Tapper reports that in March CNN learned ISIS was developing laptop bombs to be used on international flights and was cautioned by Trump administration officials not to report certain details about the threat, including the city in which the intel was collected. President Trump later revealed that city in a meeting with Russians.
