It sounds like Trump just can't be bothered with the details of running the federal government, and so prefers to simply be "chairman of the board" rather than "chief executive officer".
This has been my view from the get-go, he doesn't want the job of being president, that's hard. He wants the glory of victory and the spoils of the position.
I think you might be right.
But the thing I don't get, is why does the electorate not see this ?
Why would anyone support someone for president, who really does NOT want to be ?
