Media coverage of Hillary is going to be very negative, which will help Trump.

I agree that we can not underestimate trump.
But understand that the media is going to also go very hard and very negative on trump also ; harder than on Hillary.
The media is already starting to punch, and most of the blows are on Donald's face.

Hurr durr people I disagree with are stupid. You ever think that maybe the reason people buy into populist rhetoric like the kind Trump and Sanders are using is not stupidity, but maybe, just MAYBE they actually want to see radical change in how things are done in government? But what do I know, I'm just a stupid populist.

You are missing the "important" side of the argument.
I (and probably a majority of people in the US) don't have a problem with a "populist" and "change in how things are done in government" aspect, of what you are saying.
The "stupidity" attached to voters, comes from individuals who adore and want the "populism" and yet ignore the other major negative aspects of the candidate.

Think of it like this ....
A German citizen in late 1930's (just before the war begins) likes the populist and nationalistic side of what Hitler is saying and promising.
But, some/many German citizens ignore the fact that Hitler also talks down to some "groups" of people who reside within its borders (minorities, women, people with a "different religion," etc).
How can you/people ignore this kind of hatred, racism, bigotry and/or xenophobic talk ??

Those Germans with at least half-a-brain, can only conclude that ignoring this type of dangerous rhetoric, can only be described as "crazy" or that maybe those being fooled must be unintelligent or "stupid."
