Really hard to pick one. For my money, it's one of two types of county. It's either:
One of the many flat, barren rectangles on the Western plains. Really any place that is flat, largely uninhabited and far from actual civilization. That type of place gives you both a dearth of human contact and culture and a general lack of natural beauty. Counties in western Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas probably would all qualify.
Some super isolated place in Alaska. You would have the advantage of natural beauty, but the negative of being a long, long trip to civilization. At least in western Kansas, you could drive to Denver. In Western Alaska, you probably have to mush sled dogs, fly in a sea plane and sail a deadliest catch boat just to find a movie theater.
