  The odds are much better than us Illinois voters ever getting a Governor who isn't on the take.  Lt Governor Quinn is more idealist than pragmatic, so that could spell more trouble, but at least he appears honest.  We can't go down much further!!

  It makes no sense that a guy who has been under federal investigation for the last 3 years could be so brazen enough to talk on the phone about what 'he' was going to get out of a Senate appointment.  It blows my mind.  Do politicians have such a disconnect from the real world that they can do stuff so idiotic??
