So it's the Benghazi Doofus versus the Planned Parenthood Doofus.

The one who embarrasses the GOP more wins!

So I hear there is going to be a Speaker's Debate between Chaffetz and McCarthy, before the House GOP?

Congressmen supporting the idea of a "caretaker" Speaker are reportedly naming Hal Rogers and John Kline as possibilities for the role
Like Boehner was?

I don't see that working, unless the conservatives have finally come to their senses.

McCain says the Democrats deserve to win if the Republicans don't get their act together before Election Day.

Didn't 50 Republicans sign a petition saying they would never vote for Ryan as Speaker, since he compromised with Patty Murray to have a budget, a few years ago?

Or Boehner is forced to stay on, despite wanting to go, because they can't agree on a replacement.

Or the House remains out of session until 2017.

The 2nd one would mean shutting down the govt. when this fiscal year ends on Sept. 30, 2016, and keeping it shut down for at least three months. It would also mean defaulting on our debt unless it is risen so that it won't be reached before 2017 before Boehner leaves.
You're making it sound like that's not a possibility with this congress.

Now do they have a graph like that for committees? Tongue

Tomorrow could either see everyone in the GOP breathing a huge sigh of relief, or absolute chaos.
The story of the House since January 2011...
