He's a northern version of Dubya, he doesn't have the baggage that a lot of the other GOPers have (both of which would help him), but I'm not sure that he has the charisma or the star power or the pedigree. Winning the GOP nomination would be uphill, but if he could do that, he would be threatening.
Walker is hailed nationally as a union buster, he survived a recall, won close state wide elections in a lean Democratic state, I'm sure a lot of people have heard of him, and I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't emerged as the guy for the GOP. Bush is purely name only at this point. Kasich could shake this up a bit.
