I phase in and out of this, but good grief. I suggested disability a while back. There would need to be documentation of a lot of problems (paranoia, bipolar, and so on) from a psych angle. From a physical angle, it's got to be serious also. Always having the bellyache, so to speak, probably would not get it, no. There has to be a list of documented problems that are serious, and then it goes to hearings and so forth. I know an old guy who has disability, and that's what happened.

I honestly don't see any of that with Bushie. In any event, if he wanted disability, he'd have to build a medical case for it. That's the bottom line.

We both decided it was cheaper to go two weeks without employment and not burn a bridge than it was to get some extra money and burn a bridge that I may need later on.

It is certainly possible to go and come from a grocery store type job (I know a couple kids who do it, come to think of it - it depends on when they are undertaking schooling), so if it was nothing fire-able, then it was just minor aches and pains for Bushie, and this is the easy way out.
