Hello fellow players! Some of you may already be aware, but if not, George R.R. Martin has released a new sample chapter for The Winds of Winter. I know some people who decline to read sample chapters because they want to be unspoiled when the next novel is released, but I thought I'd share for anyone who would want to read it. It's a Sansa chapter that would require knowledge of A Feast for Crows/A Dance With Dragons spoilers, so be forewarned!

There's some good information about Willas on the Wiki of Ice and Fire, that's where I always go when I'm writing POVs and need names or places or info.

I think we still need the objectives post (Hopefully Lumine has enough time today!), then it'll officially have begun

^Thank you! I'll have to change that bit to give a more credible backstory to Yohn drunkenly buying fourty barrels of Dornish white.

Hope everyone enjoyed Myrcella. There will be a companion POV from Varys' perspective, but it won't be out until around 2am tonight.

I'm not surprised the baby doesn't have silver hair. Elia's grandchild (maybe) and Arienne's child is more Martell than Targaryen. Excellent work like usual Badgate.

I was actually trying to hint that the child could be the product of Arianne and Arys Oakheart. I have no idea wether it is or not, but I wanted to add that as a hint or red herring.

Certainly, going by our genealogical standards, two generations of dark-haired Martells would make it likely that the baby doesn't have silver hair. But that's assuming that, like in our universe, silver and blonde hair are recessive genes. I think in Westeros genealogy works a bit differently. All we know for certain is that Robert Baratheon's seed was strong.

Also, here is an EXCLUSIVE DELETED SCENE from the Myrcella POV.

Originally we were going to have Aegon returning to Storm's End the day Arianne gave birth.

Also note that in this deleted scene, it is Ser Ryon Allyrion who is Myrcella's shadow, not Ser Franklyn Fossoway.

I had written all the way up to the feast last night, but when I woke up saw Dkrol's post and realized it had to be changed.

Sorry guys. Got home around midnight and was zonked out before 1am! Which is very strange for me; usually I'm up until 3. Perhaps my body is trying to get me ready for the end of my (f)unemployment.

Going to see a friend in Into The Woods this afternoon. Varys will come tonight. We will learn just what exactly happened in the feast hall after Myrcella left...and more.

v much enjoyed Varys etc, but feel a bit lost as to which of Aegon's kingsguard are alive!

A Proclamation from King Aegon

...

Small Council of Aegon VI Targaryen
Kingsguard:
1 - Ser Franklyn Fossoway
2 - Ser Garth Hightower
3 - Ser Archibald Yronwood
4 - Ser Horas Redwyne
5 - Ser Vortimer Crane
6 - Ser Ryon Allyrion
Lord Commander - Ser Areo Hotah

...

Commander of the City Watch: Ser Rolly Duckfield

I was working off this post in the South thread. Yronwood, Crane, Allyrion, and Hightower were with Aegon in the Crownlands. Hotah, Redwyne, and Fossoway were left at Storm's End.

Aegon killed Hightower at Rosby. Brienne killed Fossoway at Storm's End.

I also killed Allyrion.

Fixed the end of Varys POV to include that.

His lordship of the Vale can't have 'em all after all!

Haha, I've only been doing one of them. Last turn was a special thing since the events that needed to be conveyed couldn't fit into just one POV

Incidentally I have been helping cut down on the writing to help keep our turns moving relatively quickly, but if it's a big deal I suppose I can stop and have Lumine do them all again...I do enjoy writing them though

I wish to inform the players that negotiations with the Night's King are not allowed, as it would be unthinkable for a Lord to try and communicate with an army of ice warriors and ice zombies. The Sidhe invasion is not going to end as easily as some of you might hope, xD

lmao, who tried this?

I have asked Badgate to deal with the first POV, two others are completed and I'm working on the third one. While the delay has been very regrettable (I'm truly sorry!), I think you'll find this rounds POV's more interesting than usual. It shouldn't take long for them to be finally posted, so I'll refrain from accepting further orders to prevent having to change them once again.

It's almost done, I swear!

Wow thanks for the list Malcolm! You misnumbered Yohn's chapters though; you listed two as 'III'. Smiley
