Debate Response
While I was one of the cosponsors of the bill that would audit the fed, I realize that this is a necessary evil which we have to deal with.  We need to know what the fed is doing, but I do not call for it to be dissolved.  What we need  to do as Americans is see what our government is wasting money on, and cut that, and not do what the democrats would do and tax hard working Americans who make the money. Thank You, and God Bless America.

October 3rd: Barnstorm Iowa
October 4th: Barnstorm Iowa
October 5th: Barnstorm Iowa
October 6th: Barnstorm Iowa
October 7th: Barnstorm Iowa
October 9th: Flight to Washington, DC

John Thune, America's best choice for President

Debate Answer
Yes, we all know that China manipulates its currency, and we should call them on it.  If we were doing the same, they would call us on that.  They should play on the same ground as we are, and my white house will give any business who moves there factory or company from china to the us, we will give you many tax incentives.

Schedule

Barnstorm Iowa, and at end of the week, fly to South Carolina.

I John Thune will drop out, and will endorse Kay Hutchison, a true Conservative and what America really needs.

Charlie Bass Stumps for Ayotte in New Hampshire
"The reason I endorsed Kelly for president is this, she will bring common sense conservatism to the us.  She will do what we need as a country, and she will undo all of the damage done by this president."

Ayotte: Debate Response
"Obama has completly put our coutnry in the hole.  Yes, other presidents have done this, but he has put in almost 6 Trillion more in debt.  If he gets a second term, we will have twice the national debt than when he started his first term.  If we want to get out of this, we need not only to cut spending, but also reform our tax code so we can create more jobs.  We need to make Barack Obama a one term president."

What makes me qualified to be President?  That is a hard question to ask.  For one thing, I am proud a mother of two amazing children, and dealing with them really helps you in dealing with the mess down is Washington.  As a senator, I have tried to do not only what my state needs, but what our nation needs.  What I am doing with this campaign is to help our country in any way that is possible.

The reason I have endorest Kelly is this, she can lead this country, she will lead the Republican party to a new place, one where we reach out to women, and to minority's.  If we wish to win this election in November, we need to connect with both of these groups, and Kelly will help do this.

The reason I have endorsed Kelly is for this reason.  She is a conserivtive woman who will help our country.  She is a not a moderate like Daniels.  She is a member of the tea party, and I call on the entire tea party to endorse her.  She is a true hockey mom.

Debate Response
I really don't know.  As president, you learn so many things, things which we have no idea about now.  So there are probably a lot of things I don't know, but you know what, I know what this country needs to succeed, what we need to prosper.  We need a person who will allow for growth.

Rick Santorum to Iowans:
"Now, do you the people of the great state of Iowa want someone who will be able to defeat Obama in November!  If you say yes to to question, then Kelly Ayotte is the person for you.  Over the years, she has been a hard worker, and as president, will continue to do this."

Debate Answer:
No, that is my simple and short answer, but since I have time, I'll give the crowd my long answer.  We as a country are at a crossroads, if we keep going down this road, then we will find ourselves in the same hole as Europe.  The EU has counties which can help the failing ones.  Right now, we need to get on a path of fiscal responsibility so that we won't end up in 20 or 30 years like some EU countries begging for a bailout.

Debate Response

Affirmative action.  This is something which I am completely against for many reasons.  The main reason we all should be against it is for this, it is modern day condoned racism.  You are basically saying that African Americans are lesser than whites, so they need a step up.  You are a hypocrite if you support it and also denounce other types of racism.  The other reason I don't support it is this, all people should be on the same level, no matter race, sex or religion.

Speech on the race to white house.

Now, many people in the media may think that I am in this race for the luz of it.  Some think I am not ready for a run for the white house.  There is something we all as rep need to know, this race is going to be the hardest one we will ever face.  It will be nasty, grueling, and Obama will try and bring us down to petty politics. We need someone to run who will be above that type of politics, someone who will run on the issues at hand, and not be like some in our primary.

Reporter:Mrs. Ayotte, how do you respond to an Ad Jon Huntsman has aired which calls on New Hampshire citizens to not vote for you because you only represent us?  Also can you comment on people who say you are only doing well in the state of New Hampshire because you are from here?
Kelly:On your first question, I am not in race because I just represent the people of my state.  Yes I do represent you the people in the senate, but I also represent something different.  Something some in this race might not like.  I along with others represent a force which will not be ignored.  We are frustrated with Washington and it's corruption.  We are tired of our country being dragged through the dirt, and we will not stand for it anymore.  Now I think that also answers your second question also.

Ad showing in New Hampshire

I think Kelly is a great woman, good mother, and the Hocky mom that Our County needs, so on election day, vote Kelly Ayotte, American's Iron Lady.

Well, when I endorsed Kelly, I was a little scared to do so, but now knowing her, she is what need for our county to defeat Obama this year, so vote Kelly Ayotte, America's Iron Lady.

She is a Family woman, she is a great wife, and Wonderful Senator, so you should vote for my wife, America's Iron Lady.
V.O.
New Hampshire, you have a wonderful Senator in the form of Kelly Ayotte. Her record as this state's Attorney General, and the fact that she resigned to keep her principles, are amazing qualities.  Why not have someone like her in the White House.  So vote Kelly Ayotte, America's Iron Lady

I'm Kelly Ayotte and I aprove this message.

Message on Ayotte Campaign Facebook page.

Here is a message from Kelly herself-

Now, today we all in the state of New Hampshire will do a time honored ritual of being the first state in the nation to have a primary. So today, I ask that you, the people of my home state do me the honor of voting for me.  If you are undecided on this race, like many of you are, just listen to this.  I will serve you as president with the humility that someone in that high of an office should have.  I don't believe in the principle of the next in line getting the nomination like the rep party has done for the past few decades.  So if you want to help buck this trend, then vote for me, The next Iron Lady.

Kelly to Crowd at Victory Rally.

Thank you. Everybody this is a great honor.

I am here today because of you, my staff and volunteers who went door-to-door and made thousands of phone calls. You have opened your homes and your businesses to me. You have also opened your hearts to me and my family. We will never forget it.

We must never forget that this election is about who will hopefully replace President Barack Obama: A man who has not set an example nationwide on fiscal responsibility and fighting for taxpayers. I want to finish what Senator Gregg has begun. And I want to thank Senator Gregg and his wife Kathy for their support and service to our country.

I certainly wouldn't be here today without the support of my family. That especially means my parents, who put up 4 x 8 signs across the state. And of course my husband Joe. He has been amazing. He hasn’t seen this much smoke and fire since he came back from Iraq!

This was an incredibly spirited and close primary. I would like to say a word about Jon Hunstman. Jon is a principled conservative and I have great respect for him and the race he ran. Jon was a gentleman in the race and a gentleman when he called to offer his support. It means a lot that I have also heard from Kay, Mike , and Mitch. I have great respect for each of them. We will be united in this race and we will defeat Barack Obama.

Put simply, this election is about two very different visions for the future of New Hampshire and our nation.

I have a different vision for our future. It is a vision of individual opportunity and responsibility. It is one of less spending, lower taxes, and creating an environment in which our small businesses can grow and create jobs. I will work to stop the spending spree in Washington and to stop this Administration’s looming tax increases.

America faces great challenges. None greater than our economy and crushing national debt. And this election will determine whether we will meet this challenge.

My family is like most New Hampshire families. And we worry about the same things you do.

We want to help our small businesses by cutting taxes and eliminating burdensome federal paperwork.

We want to secure America’s economic future by stopping wasteful Washington spending. That means no more earmarks, no more midnight deals and no more putting off tough decisions.

We want to keep our country and its citizens safe in a dangerous world. We must remain steadfast and vigilant in the fight against terrorists. Coming from a military family, that’s a solemn duty I will keep.

We must return to the core principles that have made our country great. That means our national leaders must stop apologizing for the United States of America.

As Attorney General, I rolled up my sleeves to tackle the difficult challenges that faced our state.  As Senator, I have done the same

Now I want to take that same tough leadership to Washington. I won’t back down from a fight in the Senate, just like I didn’t shy away from making tough decisions as Attorney General.

To my supporters: You have earned this victory. Thank you for all you have done. But our work isn’t finished. We have seven weeks to win this election. As hard as you’ve worked already, I’m asking you to work even harder.
Tomorrow is the first day of the general election.

I ask you to roll up your sleeves – as I will – to win this election. I am going to Washington to fight for you and take America back.

Senator Ayotte Debate Response.

My husband is an Iraq war veteran.  He joined, like many others, because he wanted to serve our country.  He flew combat missions during the Iraq war. He retired from the Air National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel.  After getting home from the war, he could not find a job. We had to build a business from the ground up.  Knowing how hard it is to find a job now after coming home from war, and how hard it is to run a business; yes, we need to provide many tax incentives for employers to hire veterans.  We also should give tax incentives so that military families can start small businesses, who lead our country in job growth.  These men and women fought for this county, this the least we can do for them.

Yes I do, and I hope the Supreme Court in June rules that this law is unconstitutional.  If it is not overturned then, we must capture the white house, and we must regain control of the senate.  This is our only option if the Supreme Court doesn't do what I think is the right thing.  We have so many races in which we can win and so many candidates in which we can run.  From Sarah Steelman in Mo to Connie Mack IV in Fl, even Deb Fischer in Nebraska.  Now going back, we need health care reform, but not what we have now.  Nancy Pelosi said we have to pass it to see what's in it, and now that we know what we have, let us redo this bill.  One that lower costs and improve quality of care for all people.

This is a very good question for me.  I think we all know what I wish I could redo.  My debating has not been up to par.  I really should have prepared for these debates, but with small kids, it is kind of hard to do anything.  But I still love you Katherine and Jacob.  Mommy will see you tomorrow, now Joe, get those little rascals to bed .

We as americans need to reform our immigration system.  Right now we have a broken system.  People are streaming across the border, the cartels are taking over Mexico.  We need to secure the border, and allow the 11 million illegal people in our country to become citizens.  None of them would get it right away.  At the earliest in my plan, people could start getting green cards and citizenship in 15 years and they all will have to pay a fine, the amount which will be determined later.  First things first, we need to secure our border.  Build a fence along it, put troops on the border.  If third world nations can have a secure border, why can't we, the greatest nation in the world, do it to.  We as republicans can't be cruel to a group of individuals who pay taxes, and normally don't break the law.

I am pro-life, only with exceptions for rape, incest, and when the mother's life is in danger.  The thought of having an abortion never crossed my mind, but in certain situations, I do believe the mother should be given a choice. We don't need to force women who have been raped to carry the child of their rapist.

Thank you, Anderson.  Experience is something that is measured in different ways.  In elected experience, I have only won one office in my adult life, being US Senator. But what I lack in elected experience, I make up in others.  From 2004 - 2009, I had the opportunity to serve as New Hampshire's Attorney General, where every day, I fought for the good people of my state. As a small business owner, I  have had to deal with what will I be able to pay my workers this week, will I have to lay one of them off, or will I have too close my doors.  I'm also a proud Mom - now, some may laugh at this, but being a Mom is no easy task, regardless of whether you stay at home or lead a professional life as well. Washington is broken - we need an outsider to fix this mess, and I know I can do that.

Well for starters, you need to get to know who you are working with.  I would, in my first two weeks, have a dinner every night with about 40 or so members of congress, and get to know them personally.   Next, I would bring in the members of Party leadership, and work out the issues at hand.  I would take a hands on approach to doing things, and I will listen to both sides, which some don't like, but must happen for our problems to be fixed.
