It's breaking news flashing across all news stations, you sure about that?
106K tweets about TheFBI in about 15 minutes. But yeah, no one cares.

Comey needs to be fired immediately. Absolutely disgraceful.
You're right about that. He needs to be fired. For letting Crooked Hillary off the hook to begin with.

Where have you been. Hiding in your basement ?
Nope. Utterly disgusted with my treatment in this place. Like most other blue avatars that have been ridiculed to the point of silence by you brownshirts.

Ummm. An e-mail where Cheryl Mills said "we have to clean this up" was released?

The coverups are as usually as bad, if not worse, than the underlying crime.

I see that NBC's pollster and NBC News got their DNC talking points.

But there will be so much nothingburger that you'll be sick and tired of eating nothingburger! You'll say, President Trump! I can't take it! I need less nothingburger! And Trump will say "NO! You shall eat nothingburger and we will make nothingburger into nothing again!"

Seems this is a matter of whether or not Huma informed the FBI that she used Weiner's laptop to send and retrieve email.
Unlikely. It seems like the FBI was doing what they do with the Weiner investigation and came across these Hillary/Huma e-mails.

If Huma was stupid enough to use POP settings and Outlook with her clintonemail.com account, it's entirely possible that the e-mails were archived on the machine in a .pst file. Even if the server was wiped, you'd still have the e-mails stored locally.

It's pretty clear that Comey has nothing and only did this to create a narrative a week before the election.
The Director of the FBI, that you all were lauding a few months ago, in a DEMOCRAT administration has absolutely nothing, so he reopens an investigation after new evidence comes forward. OK.

De Nile is a river in Egypt. It's also the MOTD for the red avatars on here tonight.

The case was not reopened and secondly, Comey did a whole lot of editorializing when he announced that he could not bring a case against Clinton, even though he clearly wanted to from the way he editorialized in that announcement.
Because he should have brought a referral for an indictment to begin with. This whole thing doesn't pass the smell test. That's the problem.

The Clintons haven't done themselves many favors, including Bill meeting the Attorney General on the tarmac in PHX, Hillary lying and then re-spinning, etc.

I am telling you, if Huma was dumb enough to set up her clintonemail or her yahoo e-mail on Outlook and she did it as a .pst file, this will be the equivalent of the missing 18-minutes in the Nixon tape. That would mean that despite erasing whatever they did on the server, it still remained local -- on the computer of a pervert and alleged pedophile.

Trump to make a statement soon.
Will he manage to screw this one up too?
Trump already made a statement in his New Hampshire rally. He's about to go on in Cedar Rapids within the next 1/2 hour or so. Expect much of the same.

Comey needs to get the facts out in the public domain ASAP. clearly the Trump campaign should want this too.
How exactly do you get the facts out quickly when you have to deal with the whole Classified/redaction/confidential mess? If there are tens of thousands of e-mails, good luck with getting that done in 11 days.

Supposedly there's only three emails.
NYT is reporting thousands, which is much, much more than three. Three doesn't make much sense in the grand scheme of things. Obviously whatever device was looked at had something stored on it.

So.... no one knows, basically, nothing yet, right?

According to Gloria Borger on CNN, "It's like James Comey set the house on fire and walked away."

Well, it's now clear that all FBI employees will be dismissed Jan 21 if Clinton still wins.
The only heads that can roll are likely the department heads and other political appointees. The rank-and-file FBI agents are going nowhere under either a Clinton or Trump administration. It's against the law to fire them for political reasons.

Well, it is under the current SCOTUS.
I'm pretty sure it's about as well settled law as well settled law gets.

You do realize, that's not the point.

Huma was under subpoena to produce these documents and did not. If it's thousands and thousands of e-mails, you have no way to quickly vet them all in days.

You really have no choice but to deliberately investigate. This investigation will drag well into the next administration.

All of this nonsense lands squarely on the doorstep of Hillary Clinton, who shouldn't have had a private e-mail server to conduct federal government business to begin with. But let's not let that get in the way of tarring the people investigating her instead.

Honestly how on Earth is this even a scandal? This is basically what I understand:

-FBI investigates Weiner.
-FBI finds more emails between Hillary and Huma on it.
-The emails had nothing to do with her private email server.

So basically the scandal is...Hillary sent some emails to someone who worked for her who happened to be married to a perverted guy?
No, the scandal is that Huma was under subpoena, failed to disclose this device and release e-mails between herself and Hillary Clinton as required under that subpoena. Her creepy husband gets busted for sexting with an underage girl, the NY FBI, who is investigating Weiner, unearths these e-mails. The DC FBI is obligated to investigate.

Yeah, he's just quoting the Wall Street Journal.

650,000. Think about that. That's either a lot of duplicates (from BlackBerry syncs) of the same host file or a lot of e-mail accounts (either POP3/IMAP4 or Exchange) that Huma had. As Clinton's No. 2 and basically her top assistant, there's no doubt from the Wikileaks filings that she had access to Hillary's clintonemail.com account.

If that's the case those 33,000 "missing" e-mails are likely found.

Are you sure you want them released, red avatars? Hillary waived her right to object. Thank you Anthony Weiner for showing some underaged girl your dick pics.

Did you Seriously? not follow the case?

Hillary didnt get charged because she did not deliberately mishandle classified information like for example leaking to the press.

The existence of classified emails on her server is not illegal unless she deliberately mishandled them like Petreaus did with giving classified emails to his secret lover who used the emails to write his biography.

they found no probable cause that Hillary intended to miss-use classified information. and even when they find clasified information on huma abedin's emails when they just got a warrant, which is a given because she worked in the state department.  it would not be incriminating because she wrote classified emails for Hillary as did other aides otherwise huma incrminated herself the second she wrote them.

You have no idea what e-mails are on the Weiner/Huma laptop.  Neither does anyone, including the FBI.  It could be just duplicates of what we've seen before, banal things Clinton had deleted from the server, or a smoking gun from Clinton that was deleted from the server, something like "Huma - please remove all classification markings from the things you send me".  So for you to claim there's nothing there is premature at best.

It is extremely doubtful if there is anything significant there. Otherwise, Clinton wouldn't have taken the tactic of calling out the FBI and asking them to provide specifics...it just would have been bad strategy, given that she is already ahead in the race.

You're joking right? Hillary's only political play is to demonize the FBI and ask them to do something that they can not possibly due because of the time it takes for the classification process to work.

The only people who could release ALL of the e-mails would be Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin and I guess that pervert Weiner. Neither of them will, however, because there's bound to be political damning e-mails in there, just like there are with Wikileaks. So they'll hide behind the FBI director for now, knowing he can't do what they ask of him without a proper, thorough vetting, which can't happen in the next 8 days.
