It's that time of year again, kids.  This year, though, I think I am going to give someone else a shot at being commissioner.  I just offered to Inks.  If he doesn't want to do it, then are there any other volunteers?

BTW... so we don't lose anything, I will compile the lists from leagues past, and post them, so that we don't lose that history.

Hello everyone:

The League I.D. is "197752"
The password is "daveleip"

As always, all teams must contain the name of a real place (city or state).

That said, after three years as your commissioner, I have resigned and hand the commissionership over the Nathan Inks.  Thank you for all your cooperation over the years, and I look forward to continuing in as a competitor in the league.

I have a speech tournament on the 28th, so we should move it to the 29th.  Also, can I get a link to our current site?  Thanks.

It's Yahoo.  Just go to the Yahoo Fantasy section.  Fantasy Baseball.  Standard League (not "Plus") and then type in the League ID and password.

Even though I lost the championship last year, ending your hopes of a dynasty is enough of a highlight for my team.

Wow... we go from being worried about having enough people to make it interesting, to having the most teams we have ever had... in about two days.

To Franzl:

A fair offer.  Give me some time to think it over.  A day or two.

Also, Franzl... a possible counter offer that I would like your opinion on:

Ben Sheets and Gil Meche for Zambrano.

As much as Zambrano is my favorite player, he is a high fastball pitcher.  That will get you alot of K's, but the high fastball really carries in Wrigley Field... as in, out to Waveland Ave.

I'd accept that.

Well then accept it already.  I officially made the proposal two days ago.

So, on a scale of 1-10 how awesome is Seattle's bullpen this year?  Smiley

I'm not sure if everyone got the msg, but I am offering to trade Brian Roberts (2B) for any reasonable offer.  I would prefer a closing pitcher.

Hey Super - My pitching staff topped your Week 1 strikeout total this week.  Smiley

Now if they could just stop giving up walks, runs and losses too.

What's saving me is the lineup I've concocted.  It's almost perfect.  Some good BA guys, some good power and RBI guys, some good SB and runs guys.

All in all, I'll take 34-14-4 for the last four weeks any day.

You wouldn't have if I hadn't lapsed for a couple of days, and had actually started all my pitchers.
