how many of you have voted for someone who your ideological opposite?
im curious because i was reminded how many father voted for carter (twice). it just blows my mind, seeing as how my father is very conservative. but instead of reagan, he opted for carter. it's baffling.
i voted for jesse helms. he isnt quite my opposite, but it's safe to say he is a few degrees to the right of me on the social conservatism scale (not to mention civil rights).
I voted for Fisher in the 2002 governors race. He is my opposite in the fact that he's a pansey.
Can't really think of anyother ones off hand.
