Acctually, the Pennsylvania Republicans fit me pretty well.

They are more socially moderate and more populist than the national party as a whole.

How can you be more socially moderate and still populist?

Populist means you lean socially conservative and economically liberal. A good example would be Senator Breaux.

I know what populist is, but he said he is more socially moderate than most Republicans but also a populist...

I mean economically populist.
