Hi, I'm Governor Jesse Ventura. When you vote in November, you must keep in mind who really represents your interests. Do you really think that Howard Dean, John McCain, or Michael Bloomberg will work as hard as they can to represent the common man? No, of course not. They're all bought off by the same banks and corporations which have been the problem for so long. Ralph Nader, on the other hand, is different. Ralph's whole career has been devoted to protecting consumers and making sure that you don't get the short end of the stick. I hope you join me in voting for Ralph Nader, because together, we can send a message to the politicians that enough is enough.

Jesse Ventura (Nader Surrogate) Campaign Schedule: October 21 - October 27

October 21
-Rally in Blaine, MN
-Rally in Pymouth, MN
-Rally and Fundraiser in Minneapolis, MN
-Rally and Fundraiser in St. Paul, MN

Ten years ago, I shocked the whole world with my election as governor, and it was because of the people of Minnesota that made that happen. The media said I couldn't win; they called me unelectable. Well, now we have someone else who's just as much of a rebel as me, and his name is Ralph Nader. These same people in the media say that Nader can't win, and that he's an unelectable candidate. Well, why don't we shock the world again, Minnesota?

October 22
-Rally in St. Cloud, MN
-Rally in Woodbury, MN
-Rally and Fundraiser in Rochester, MN
-Rally and Fundraiser in Duluth, MN

October 23
-Rally in Maple Grove, MN
-Rally in Eden Prairie, MN
-Rally and Fundraiser in Bloomington, MN
-Rally and Fundraiser in Brooklyn Park, MN

October 24
-Rally in Sitka, AK
-Rally in Juneau, AK
-Rally and Fundraiser in Fairbanks, AK
-Rally and Fundraiser in Anchorage, AK

October 25
-Rally in Hilo, HI
-Rally in Koolaupoko, HI
-Rally and Fundraiser in Ewa, HI
-Rally and Fundraiser in Honolulu, HI

Understand, I'm voting for Ralph because he actually means what he says, unlike the lying crooks that populate Washington. I believe him when he says that he'll pull our troops out of the Middle East, because he's been opposed to the wars from the very beginning and has vehemently fought against the policies of Bush and Cheney. How could I trust a Democrat like Howard Dean to fulfill that promise? Remember, the Democrats got control of both houses of Congress in the 2006 midterms, and all they need to do to stop the wars is to just stop funding it. So, why haven't they done that yet? Something tells me that they're not serious about their agenda. Bloomberg was a strong supporter of the War on Terror for a while, and now you're telling me he's changed his mind on that? And McCain? Please, he's just another Bush.

October 26
-Rally in Waterloo, IA
-Rally and Fundraiser in Iowa City, IA
-Rally and Fundraiser in Cedar Rapids, IA
-Rally and Fundraiser in Des Moines, IA

October 27
-Rally in Biddeford, ME
-Rally in Auburn, ME
-Rally in Bangor, ME
-Rally and Fundraiser in Portland, ME

Buddy Roemer (Nader Surrogate) Campaign Schedule: October 28 - November 4

Corporate influence in Washington is rampant. We've seen how big money can corrupt a man, and nowhere is that more prominent than the frontrunners in this election. We, the people, can change that, though. Ralph Nader has spent all of his life battling corporations in their never-ending pursuit for power, and I urge you to vote for Ralph as I will.

I have a question, after election night and such, are we going to continue with the timeline and go to 2012? Or will it just end? (Im interested in joining the next one! Cheesy
I'm curious about this too. I'd definitely be open to taking part in it if it were to happen.

OOC: Perhaps "landslide" is the wrong term, but you were clearly gaining momentum and ran a fine campaign. Honestly I'm surprised I held all of the pink states.
TBH, you really picked up and rand great the last few weeks. Your VP may have hurt more than helped though, but I'm still kinda bitter about being skipped over at Convention.

He ran a very good campaign, but I think Bloomberg was better this time. Dean had a clear EV advantadge from the beginning, he was actually very concerned about winning the popular vote but being a distant 2nd on EVs. It didn't happen. And with recounts, he can even take the 1st place.

What I don't know is what I will do with republican faithless electors... Now that McCain has endorsed Bloomberg, what will his electors do? What do you think? They are supposed to vote for McCain, even if he doesn't want to, right?

Well, they could always vote for a former candidate from the Primaries... (And Gingrich's ego could use some Electoral Votes)
I think the majority of them would eventually go to Bloomberg, but yeah, I can also see some going to Gingrich or Hagel.

I'd like to claim Rick Perry for Governor of Texas and Tom Horner for Governor of Minnesota.

I'm still part of this. The senators that Bmotley picked are fine if you ask me, let's just keep moving on with the whole thing.

Rick Perry Schedule: January 20-31

-Gubernatorial duties
-Fundraisers for Republican National Committee
-Consulting with advisors on possible reelection campaign

"It would be unprecedented in this state, but I'm leaning towards seeking another term. I've racked up a strong record and I think I can ward off any strong challengers in the primary. We need to begin hiring some new folks soon if we'll be going through with this."

How long will normal turns be for now? I'd say that a month would be good until we get to maybe mid-2010.

Maxwell also played as Dennis Kucinich during the election and last said that he's intending to run for Ohio governor. I think he's still on board.

Doesn't really bother me personally, so long as the update is thorough with what's happened in the last year. Though maybe we should first see what Tmth has to say since he's Bloomberg here.

Ah, then yeah, I'm fully comfortable with that. What Lumine said would also be a good idea here.

U.S. President Bloomberg signs the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act into law aiming to insure 95% of Americans.
Bloombergcare, eh? I guess both parties will turn on it after a little while.

Rick Perry Campaign Schedule: July 1-10

July 1-5
-Gubernatorial duties

July 6
-Meeting with Texas Farmers Union in Waco, TX
-Town Hall in Waco, TX

Farmers are an essential part of the state, and to see you all hit by droughts in recent years is truly disheartening, not just for your livelihoods, but for how crop yields affect everybody else. Rest assured the agricultural community has a friend in Rick Perry. I used to serve as the state Commissioner of Agriculture and I dealt with these issues firsthand. This will continue to be a high priority on my administration's agenda.

July 7
-Meeting with Texas Chamber of Commerce in Austin, TX
-Rally and Fundraiser in Austin, TX

Over the last ten years, the state of Texas has gained almost a million jobs while the US as a whole is set to lose about a million jobs. This just goes to show that Texas is an economic powerhouse, and I'm quite proud of this record. We can keep on forging the path to prosperity together.

July 8
-Interview with local news station in Austin, TX
-Interview with local news station in Houston, TX
-Interview with local news station in Dallas, TX

July 9
-Meet and Greet in Alton North, TX
-Meet and Greet in Andrews, TX
-Meet and Greet in Athens, TX
-Meet and Greet in Brownfield, TX

July 10
-Meeting with Travis County Republican Party in Austin, TX
-Strategizing with campaign advisors at Perry HQ

The Reform Party candidate seems to be peeling away some of my support in the polls. There's nothing to fret about so far because we're still leading by quite a comfortable margin, but we need to really emphasize my accomplishments in office to bring back those voters.
