Scandanavia reaffirms that we will stand with the British and Russian empires in case of a war with France.

In preparation for a potential war, the Scandanavian Baltic fleet is deployed to the Scandanavian West Indies along with a small military force to protect our colonial possessions.

HRH King Charles orders a mobilization of troops across the country to assemble at various forts along the Swedish coast (OOC: I'm assuming that I know that France is sending troops to Sweden but not sure where they'll land, is that fair?).

Meanwhile, pamphlets are distributed across Sweden and newspapers are forced to print allegations that Gustav has converted to Catholicism at the French court and that the French army deployment is part of a conspiracy among the Catholic powers of southern Europe to return Papism to Northern Europe.

Scandanavia also affirms that we will stand with our Russian allies in the case of war with the Ottomans.

Regarding the Elb channel, unfortunately with our current military situation we do not have the resources to interfere in Mecklenberg right now.

Scandinavia will stand by our Russian allies. We declare war on the Ottomans, French, and the Austrians. The forces of His Majesty King Charles are ready to do battle with this unholy alliance of Papists and Mohammedans.

A general conscription across Scandinavia is ordered. Meanwhile, the current Scandinavian forces are deployed as such:
10,000 in Pomerania
10,000 in Holstein
15,000 in Sweden to repel the pretender Gustav

Meanwhile, the fleet in Bergen is sent to the North Sea to prepare for war against the French, while an expeditionary force is gathered in the Scandinavian West Indies, totaling 3,000 men and 13 ships (the ships that were sent from the Baltic), and sets sail to capture the isle of Guadeloupe from the French.

Scandinavia condemns the Austrian invasion of Bavaria. We wish to assure the German states that we have no imperialist ambitions in Germany. Furthermore, we wish to see Prussia liberated from Austrian papist tyranny. We will make a proposal at the Frankfurt Conference to liberate Prussia as an independent kingdom with the House of Hohenzollern returned to power. The new state shall incorporate all the territories of the Kingdom of Prussia in 1721 (after the end of the Great Northern War), plus the territory of Western Prussia including Danzig (controlled by Poland in 1721 but not included in the new Grand Duchy of Poland) minus the territory in Pomerania that was ceded by Sweden to Prussia by the Treaty of Stockholm in 1721, which will be returned to Scandinavian control. Silesia will remain under Austrian control as a concession to the Austrians.

Scandinavia will send 10,000 troops from Sweden to Pomerania, leaving behind 5,000 troops plus conscript militia to defend against a possible uprising or trouble-making from the French. This new force, totaling 20,000 men plus equipment and officers to train Prussian volunteers, will march south to take Stettin. Scandinavia offers Frederick II of Prussia command of this army to retake his kingdom. (OOC: If Frederick II isn't alive or willing, then this doesn't apply, Frederick William II didn't have the military skills of his uncle so Scandinavia will back him as King of Prussia but not put him in charge of their army).

In the Caribbean, His Majesty King Charles decrees that any slaves in Guadeloupe or the Scandinavian West Indies who will take up arms to defend Scandinavia will be freed from slavery. 10 ships are dispatched from the Scandinavian North Sea Fleet to the Caribbean along with weapons and officers to train and arm slave recruits.

Americas:
Scandinavia reaffirms that the offer of freedom is intended only to a select few slaves who are willing to take up arms for the Crown, and that all slave rebellions will be crushed and those involved punished harshly. To prevent slaves from becoming too powerful, the number of slaves allowed to join the Scandinavian army will be limited to no more than the number of His Majesty's troops stationed on the same island.

Scandinavia issues an ultimatum to the French planters: they must publicly swear allegiance to His Majesty King Christian, and accept an additional war tax of 10% of their total profits, or their militia will be disbanded. If they accept these demands then they will be allowed to keep their militia and be protected from any slave uprisings.  

Europe:

Scandinavia amends her offer regarding Prussia; to gain Saxony's support, if they agree to the creation of Prussia they will receive control of the former Duchy of Magdeburg (instead of that territory going to Prussia).

His Majesty sends 20,000 newly raised conscript troops (OOC: I'm assuming the conscription and preparations are done) as well as 5,000 troops from Holstein to join the army in Stettin, and this new force (totaling 45,000 men) will meet with the Russian and march on Berlin to retake the former Prussian capitol.

Prince Fredrick William II and all members of the former Hohenzollern dynasty are invited to the Royal Court in Gothenburg in preparation for their re-installation as the rightful rulers of Prussia.

For now, Denmark-Norway and Sweden will remain separate kingdoms in a personal union.

Scandinavia does not wish to continue war in Europe, and we will withdraw all troops from Prussia if Austria recognizes Prussian independence.

We also wish to offer the French peace, if they agree to cede the island of Guadeloupe to focus on the rebellion in Haiti, expel Gustav from their court and cease their troublemaking in Sweden.

In the mean time, the fleet in the North Sea is dispatched to intercept the French invasion force heading towards Prussia.

Scandinavia accepts France's offer of peace, but we will remain on guard against any attempt by the French to install the pretender Gustav on the Swedish throne or interfere in Scandinavian affairs in any other way.

Scandinavia is happy to see the end of the war. We will withdraw all troops from Prussian territory.

OOC: What happened to Magdeburg? Did Saxony get it or Prussia, or is that unresolved?

Americas:

*The isle of Guadeloupe will be incorporated into the realm of Scandinavia as a royal colony, under the direct control of the King. A Governor is appointed by the King and sent to the territory.

*All slaves that took up arms during the war will be disarmed and their units disbanded. They are now freedmen, free to take any job they can find. The King privately sends letters to planters reassuring them that the newly-freed slaves will have a hard time finding employment and that the planters can rehire them at rock-bottom wages for little cost (essentially what happened OTL in the US South after the American Civil War)

*We do not want the slave rebellion in Hispaniola to spread, and the Scandinavian Caribbean  fleet will blockade the coast of Hispaniola controlled by the rebels. In addition, we will send supplies to the besieged French in Port-au-Prince

Europe

*Scandinavia does not want war in Europe, having just gone through two costly wars. We propose a Treaty of Friendship among the great powers of Europe; Russia, Austria, Prussia, France, Great Britain, Spain, the Ottomans, and us, promising not to go to war except for the purpose of defense and to oppose any rebellion against the rightful governments of these realms.

*All conscripts called up during the war will be released from duty and sent home.

*The King calls up prominent scholars and men of the arts from across Scandinavia to come to his court and begin drafting a new common Scandinavian language, based on a combination of Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian and all various regional dialects. Their first task will be to translate the Holy Bible and all laws of the three Scandinavian kingdoms into this new language.

*The King institutes a number of progressive reforms focusing on the criminal system, including the abolition of torture for all crimes those committed in war and those committed against the King, the end of capital punishment for theft, and the criminalization of bribery of state or Royal officials.

*Scandinavia will resume all pre-war trade with Austria.

*Scandinavia condemns the Mecklenburgian/Saxon agreement splitting up Prussia, as it gives Mecklenburg the territory in Pomerania around Stettin which is Scandinavian territory. Scandinavia demands that Mecklenburg renounce their claims on Scandinavian territory immediately or they will face war.

*Scandinavia reaffirms our support for the Hohenzollerns as the rightful rulers of Prussia. We will send muskets, weapons, and military advisors to King Frederick William in Berlin. We warn the Saxons and the Mecklenburgians that an attack on this convoy will mean war with Scandinavia.

*Scandinavia moves 5,000 troops from Sweden to Holstein and 40 ships from Bergen to Stralsund in preparation for possible war in Prussia/Mecklenburg
