Maybe thinking a bit further ahead than need be, but for 72, since that was a weird election, and we're vastly off track, I was thinking the most logical way to do things would be (if Chase wins, which I don't want him to x.x ), have him switch to Liberal Republican, be primaried by Greeley, and then have dems and reps running separately for 3 tickets.

There's also the Bourbon Democrats, who I suspect a lot of the libertarians on this forum would vote for, and Woodhull/Douglass of the Equal Rights Party. So that would make five tickets, six if the Prohibition Party is included. Should be interesting Tongue

Right now I think the Dems need a victory though to ensure that we don't sink into a one party state. Plus, at the moment, it's 52-48, and that's a bit much. If it were even 50 I could consider it.

Yeah, if the Dems don't win an election where both candidates are Republicans than I don't think they're winning an election until the 1900s.
