You've just explained why he'd be a good Presidential Candidate...

I agree. Only someone from the political centre can reconcile 'blue' and 'red' America. Moderates are the largest single ideological voting bloc. Bayh stands a good chance against a conservative Republican and even moderate Republican

The Democrats need to bear in mind "electability" come the 2008 primaries and not "litmus tests"
