I'm noticing that no one here was this celebratory when Nick Sandmann won his lawsuit for being defamed.
Just sayin'.
In this particular case, the good guys won. In your case, it was a Trump supporter. 
An 18 year old kid gets ganged up on by the entire media and social media world over a falsehood, and all because of a hat he wore. Not because of anything he did.
I don't begrudge Maddow a legitimate victory. That people would begrudge Sandmann the same represents a sense of injustice that is frightening. "Only people that agree with me deserve justice!". Is that the Talk Elections Motto these days?
