Nah.  I'll come home when this ticket is sent packing after a terrible defeat.
Step into the light my friend.  Your party needs you!  You know you want to.  It will feel so good to cast that vote for the party of Lincoln.

Lincoln would be rolling over in his grave if he ever saw a Trump rally filled to the brim with confederate flags.
Lincoln had a Confederate currency note in his pocket when he was shot, or so I read.  The Confederate flag is merely a way of saying, I am a proud redneck!  Remember the Dukes of Hazzard show?  They had it on their car.  It's nothing but southern pride and good fun!

Roll Eyes
You, living south of the Mason-Dixon line, surely you understand!
No other region of the country has it's own flag or symbol.

It should also be noted that the rectangular "X" (Southern Cross) flag was NOT the "Stars and Bars", nor was it the flag of the CSA.  It was something that emerged in the 1950s to symbolize resistance to the Civil Rights Movements.  It represents a "thumbs up" for Jim Crow Segregation.

I'm saying this as the husband of a wife and father of boys who are direct descendants of Gen. John Bell Hood, whose image is carved on Stone Mountain, GA.  It's a display that black folks are justifiably offended by.  The rectangular "X" flag represents support for segregation, and the purpose of secession by the Southern States was to maintain the institution of slavery.  Folks really do need to decide if we're going to be ONE nation, or if we're going to be something else, and this decision really does present itself to all Americans.

They were flown as the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia, as of November 28th 1961.

The flag you speak of was a square flag.

The Segregation X Flag is a rectangular flag.

Yes, there is a difference.  The Square Battle Flag was never the flag of an entire nation; only of one Army.

If that's how you read it then that's too bad, but the Trump wing needs to be crushed. if it isn't it's a permanent minority party for a long time until the party changes to actual policy positions and away from the white nationalist/sexists that's currently 40% of the base.

You're a member of the globalist cabal. That is your choice. I wonder how Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey feel about that choice.

Hahaha, Jesus, man.  The hyperbole.

Anyway, people can call this cruel, elitist or anything else, but it's true: Trump's core of support will have less electoral influence with each passing year, INCLUDING in the Grand Old Party.

When I was your age, and before Globalization really took hold, Pa could toss the pig-skin around with his boy while Ma would place a fresh apple pie on the window sill, filling the whole house with a pleasant aroma. For the past several decades, ordinary folks have submitted to the Globalist Cabal and have received the shaft. When was the last time you saw an apple pie on a window sill? The age of the globalists is coming to an end. The question is, will YOU join our cause?

Again, Trump says you make too much and he doesn't like social security too much either. Wolf in sheeps clothing will make you work until you die to barely afford the necessities.
I want everyone here to look at MY screen name.  Then look at Fuzzy BEAN, who's claiming to be a Republican from FL and copying my signature.

I'm asking the forum if you find this fair.  Or is this dirty pool?

I don't mind criticism, but distorting and defaming me isn't right.  I've not done this to anyone here.  I'm asking my fellow posters here to call this individual out for this.

And now you can have a giant bowl of Vietnamese Pho and baclava for dessert.  Or a meat loaf sandwich and a slice of apple pie.

You know what we have in immigrant friendly America and a globalized society?  CHOICES.  Make the right one.

How has a giant bowl of Vietnamese Pho and baclava for dessert worked out for ordinary God-fearing folks?

You are a coward for mimicking me, my screen name, my signature.  You make Donald Segretti look like a tower of integrity.

A giant bowl of Vietnamese Pho works well for ordinary God-fearing folks because Vietnamese-Americans are amongst the most Patriotic of Americans, immigrant or native-born.  They recognize the evil of totalitarianism, and however much the Vietnam War may have been a mistake, they appreciate what we tried to do for them.  God Bless them.  They could show any number of folks here what gratitude for being an American really means.

Nah.  I'll come home when this ticket is sent packing after a terrible defeat.

The next ticket will be just as deplorable.  Welcome to the new Republican nightmare.  Fortunately, we have a party that does represent GOP values.  They're called "Democrats."

43% of your primary voters voted for a socialist; you're on crack, friend.

To be honest, a big portion was just an "anti-Hillary" vote.

Don't buy that.  Hillary adopted a LOT of Sanders' planks, clearly to appease the Democratic base.  Either way, the current Democratic Party is MUCH further to the left than any manifestation of the GOP than we've ever seen, so it hardly "represent(s) GOP values," LOL.

This is why I'm no longer a Democrat.

While I have voted for Democrats in the past, I have not registered as a Democrat since 1994.  It is no longer possible for a pro-life Democrat with socially conservative views who advocates a more liberal economic agenda than the GOP.  Not even in the South.

I'm not one to say that folks who are long-term Republicans "don't belong there".  I do think, however, that this campaign has brought out a large swath of Republicans who advocate protectionism and an end to Neocon adventurism in foreign affairs.  I've come to see that in many ways, the Republicans I disagree with are more reasonable than the bulk of Democrats these days.

In all fairness, many Sanders votes had more to do with anti-establishment sentiment than anything else.
I suspect that a lot of the Sanders Democrats in the reddest of states will vote for Trump in significant numbers.  They're not "socialists", but Sanders was (A) addressing the issue of their economic plight and (B) not preaching the liberal social agenda in the manner Hillary does.
