Don't have a private server, don't have these issues. I doubt Bernie would be dealing with these many scandals.

Bernie would have the socialism millstone around his neck. Rightly or wrongly, that would be worse

Too hard to follow. Too convoluted and complex.

Why can't it be something as simple as Hillary's emails? That might get attention.

No it's not...it's actually really easy to follow

Trump has a private server connected to a Russian bank which = he is deep in bed with Russian intel

Yep, they're going to run with it

This is damning but this is the issue that Democrats think anybody cares about but really nobody does.

IDK, it is not just ONE story, there is now a bunch of stories. I don't like this  Sad

I, though, a little bit suspicious to this story. If Russians are such a good hackers, they would cover up it Undecided

It's not that the Russians aren't good at covering their tracks, it's their useful idiot Trump who is not that good at covering his. Remember he prevented his campaign team from doing self-oppo research

Sorry, but this is a nothingburger. It proves literally nothing and any hacker worth his salt would have routed communications though proxies which cannot be traced.

Nope, the fact that Trump abruptly shut the server down when the NYT was sniffing around is a smoking gun

It's not much tbh.. Unless you have a very specific smoking gun, these stories are too complex to be digested by the public so late in the cycle

It's very easy to write in 25 words or less.

Trump had a server connected to a Russian bank. When the New York Times asked questions about it, Trump shut it down.

Yeah, they got outscooped, so they probably have a big write up coming up, and they're a big enough platform that other people may well pick it up and run.

I am probably missing something, but how do we know, that NyT were about to publish a similar story?

Eric Lichtblau was a journalist at the NYT mentioned in the Slate story who was gathering information about this server. Slate scooped the Times

Now David Corn has a story about an American spy with decades of experience in US/Russian affairs who says the Kremlin was "cultivating" Trump for years. The key paragraph:

There's definitely a coordinated rollout of Trump-Russia bromance going on

The media isn't going to run with this, it will backfire. No one's going to believe Trump is an actual agent of Russia.

You're quite the pessimist. This is going to be a disaster for Trump. Blatant Russian connections? It was fuzzy before but it's pretty clear now

ah desperately DESPERATELY trying to change the narrative with another deluge of lies. Can't wait for the next cavalcade of "he groped me waaaah" women

It's Huma, Carlos Danger, and Donna Brazile to the very end, though I look forward to the Daily News November 7th report of Trump killing Harambe while in a Klan robe.

The second district up there is slipping away, slipping away...
