I agree. New Hampshire was a key state, and she would have energized the base way more than Lieberman.
Remember you're suppoused to pick without a hindsight. NH was a swing state but nobody thought it can decide an election.
Though I understand "women voters" argument.
Yes, Gore and Lieberman don't exactly excite the women, and I don't think there's any better woman available. Feinstein maybe, but she's not that attractive and from a safe state. Mikulski isn't good enough with people, Boxer's too easily caricatured, Lincoln and Landrieu are too moderate. Patty Murray could also be an OK choice, though.
