Opinion of 7/11 Christian Music

Negative, but its also one of those things people love to hate. It's a little too easy to bash. Now something like "Sing A New Church" is a target ripe for bashing... ripping off my favourite hymn

Wow, who would have thought that getting an answer to such a simple question would be like pulling teeth?  Why the number 7 and the number 11?  Why not use the same 5 words 23 times?  Or 43 words 3 times?  What is the religious significance of 7 and 11?

Because what song usues 43 words 3 times? Besides, the 7 words (holy, god, almighty, adore, you, forever, and amen) are all incredibly common in Christian music and especially in single songs. It's also a clever reference to a gas station. Is that so hard for you to understand? Or is my sarcasm detector broken?

Yes, yes it is.  Because what the hell does Christian music have to do with a ubiquitous chain of gas stations/convenience stores?

Nothing. The term is pejorative. It's popular because its a neat play on words, not because it carries any theological significance. People that like that sort of stuff refer to it as "Praise Music".
