Summer job during high school/college
University TA
Internship
Entry level job

That makes four. I'm 21

Piecing together from the rent cost post and this that your parents must do well.  No problem in that.  That said, I do think there is good value and character building in throwing in a day's work but you are still young ans likely finishing school.

Tbh, if I hit the lottery I would certainly not be doing the 9-5 gig but would still do work.

In the case I didn't mention it, I actually live with my parents in a suburban house. They would have a hard time paying for a separate flat for me (especially in or around Paris). Still yeah, I'm aware of the fact I'm clearly more fortunate than most people.

I was actually thinking about giving private lessons to high schoolers one of these days. I agree that I need to earn my own money at this point, even if only a symbolic amount.

You're what, 22-23? Might as well make enough for beer money.
