My favorite Gillard moments are obviously her speech that one day some actress will win an Oscar for, I love her little comments like the way she walked into caucus today smiling and saying hi to the press as if she knew how it'd go down, I loved her Press Conference's when people were accusing he of being corrupt, I love how she pretended the world was going to end I just love Julia's personality obviously she's had problems dealing with sh**tting MP's and some things she's done really hasn't helped but it's hard for me not to love her.

Crean shouldn't have been so quick on the trigger finger. Abbott also leads PPM 43/35. Not that this will be the final result, but plugging it into Green's calculator translates to 108/37.

I think over the break Labor will definitely improve in the polls, but I'm confident they'll lose the election.

Martin Ferguson supposedly just joined Twitter, if it's him it's quite hilarious.

I don't care who wins the election, if Sophie Mirabella lost, I'd be happy forever.

I can't believe Daniel Andrews is going to be the Victorian Premier. Ugh.

The Libs don't deserve to be re-elected, but neither does Labor, especially under Andrews. I don't know how I plan to vote yet, I think it comes down to the Liberals to be honest. If they get their sh**t together, they get my vote. Not holding my breath for that to happen, though, if the Metro Rail project and the Hazelwood response is any indication.

Really? What's he done that's been so horrible? I actually like the sound of some of the ideas he's proposing.

About 2 thirds of voters oppose raising the pension.

This budget is a ing mess. Not only is the deficit doubling, they're cutting and destroying some of our best policy. I mean they're actually cutting so much and they're still spending more than what Rudd would have.

I'm pretty sure Pyne called him a c___. If you listen it doesn't sound like grub at all.

I'm starting to think Dennis Napthine, despite delivering a supposedly brilliant budget is completely ed. I mean in 2013, the Libs couldn't even manage 2PP win here in Victoria and recent polling has Labor at 61% to the Libs 39%. I really think Dennis will be our first one timer in ages, which is good.

I'm moderately confident in predicting the Greens to hold the balance of power in the Legislative Council, but I have no idea for the LA. The extensive redistribution makes it a bit messy, but basically I reckon it comes down to the coalition needing to win seats off Labor in the country and hold onto seats in the Southeast of Melbourne (from Prahran to Frankston* to Ferntree Gully) to win, both of which are possible.

But more likely is Labor winning back a bit of the East of Melbourne. Hard to say really, but I'd say Labor has the edge at this point, but don't necessarily deserve it.

They do over the Liberals.

You could not believe how excited I am, if Labor goes through with this and Napthine loses the election I will be insurmountably happy that, that ing maggot will be proven to be a terrible joke of a leader. I haven't hated a politician as much as I hate Napthine, he's just such a smug  - can't stand him.

Could there be an early election in Victoria, or do the fixed terms prevent that?

If parliament is dissolved, the election must occur roughly at longest 2 months after or at shortest about a month. But there can definitely be an early election.

It's not just that, Abbott's also going to drag state governments into the ground.

I mean, if it wasn't for Abbott (and Geoff Shaw) the Vic Libs should win the next election, it was a decent budget and no  first term Vic government since 1955 has only served one term but they're more than likely to lose EVEN with the favorable distributions they've received. I mean, in QLD a swing is understandable, but to the point Labor is even leading in the polls? This isn't just bad policies, it's horrific leadership internally and externally, they're just so off on the mindset of the average Australian.

Is this the first time a government has received such bad international press?
