In violation of typical floor procedure there are i believe 3 amendments floating around, all at the same time, and purportedly only one is subject to a vote and I cant tell which.

So im objecting to all and voting nay on all just to cover my bases. There is so much unconstitutional garbage in this "bill".

It's great to see that funding I requested to support Lincoln residents and dollar store businesses has been included in the bill. This is the difference having an authentic Senator from the region and not parachuted in makes.

Just so you know, as written, $1 is appropriated for all people in Lincoln to split, not $1 per Lincoln resident.

Also if I read this right the bill expects to build the cube for $3 Million which is impossible but wastes $10 billion on a statue. Good to know the sponsor thinks a statue to a singer is 3,333X more important than low income housing.

$50 Million in corporate welfare to McDonalds

$1.2 Billion in corporate welfare to Boeing

1 Billion in corporate welfare to Hackman Capital

Looks like the left has ceded the left to try and meme the game to death.

Allow me to clear this up. The current vote is on Ishan’s amendment. After that vote, we will vote on Calamity’s amendment, after which we will vote on the motion to table. Going forward, I would advise Senators not to file amendments until after a vote has concluded.

Thanks, Im not trying to be difficult but there were like 3 amendments, the first purporting to pass an unconstitutional bill of attainder, and in the later amendment the first amendment was not bolded as though the first amendment was already accepted.

Aye. I will also say that I have lifted my personal embargo on Chick-fil-a some months ago but I still don't like old man Cathy.

Do you support the unconstitutional bill of attainder against him in this bill?

Aye since it eliminates the unconstitutional bill of attainder.

Id like to offer an amendment that eliminates

Section 4, number 24

Quote
24. $100,000,000 shall be allocated for the erection of a 500-foot black penis and testicles to replace the Southern Capitol building, complete with a milk fountain (on the top) and minimal internal furnishings for the use of government officials;

Sweet.

Id now like to offer an amendment that eliminates

Section 4, number 9

Quote
9. $3.50 (Three dollars and fifty cents) shall be deposited into a newly-created West Midlander Fund for Sucking Eggs held by the federal government, to be invested in an egg-related stock chosen at random by one (1) fertile, egg-laying hen of the Rhode Island Red species through a method chosen by any board-certified practitioner of sports medicine

... as this section was written to bully our colleague Senator Midlander. At least 1 conspirator in the leaked chat claimed to want to bully WM out of the game.

Also – since Calamity is no longer with us, would anyone like to sponsor this?

Wink

Technically isn't this already tabled.

Quote from: Article 4: Debate 2)
The sponsor of a piece of legislation may at any time withdraw their sponsorship. In addition, when the sponsor is no longer a Senator, their sponsorship shall be revoked automatically. If no member of the Senate moves to assume sponsorship of the legislation within 48 hours, the legislation shall be tabled automatically.
