I'm sure her own views play a role, too. I mean, I wouldn't expect them to defend a liberal just because her great-grandfather was Nazi. But if she's a fascist, too? That's their kind of gal. (As long as she's a lot younger than the conservative in question, of course.)
CPAC couldn't get enough of Le Pen's description of a kind of 'Final Solution' to the immigration issue in America. In exchange for work, she said, they will set the immigrants free or something like that

The only mention of immigration in her speech was in reference to France and was very mild by Trump/CPAC standards.
