True. Trump and Pence are significantly different in both worldview and temperament. Their ticket makes little logical sense other than trying to maximize the closepin voters for trump.
Another sad reflection of how bad partisanship is getting is the fact that despite Trump inciting such anger and hatred in the Democrats to the point where they legitimately believe he is a nazi sympathizing racist who will doom us all, democrats still prefer him 4:1 over the guy who might make abortion a little more inconvenient.
