Would it be helpful if I took over Tyrell next turn and Rhaella became my NPC?

Tempting, but the combination of both Houses would possibly constitute an unfair advantage in a way. For the time being I've asked X (certainly one of the most veterans of all) to see if he has the time.

Right, X has said no. Given the close alignment of the Tyrells and Rhaella for now, would players object to Dkrol taking over on a temporary basis for this turn only? Otherwise I'd have to request a current player to switch, or we would have to find someone else (someone with some experience, House Tyrell is a very crucial role).

Turn up. Dkrol may act as Lord Tyrell for now, I'll remain attentive for a player who wishes to join. Feel free to contact people whom you think might be interested (and prove good players, of course).

Has the turn been fully updated yet? I don't see my thing on the turn post detailing my situation like the others.

My mistake! Will be corrected ASAP.

haha oh man it was great to work alongside Windjammer and his loss will be felt by our side. I just now realized the new turn is up - when is the deadline?

For now I'll set it at Wednesday night.

I can't update myself, so granted! Friday it is. Do let me know if there's outstanding questions I haven't answered.

Forgot to close this, I wasted yesterday and today on a personal matter which went rather badly. The turn itself can survive without the Greyjoys for now (much as I will miss BK, truly a top tier player), but Dereich didn't send orders and that would mean another two months of limbo for Ned Stark since there's no champion. That does pose an issue, since spending four months trapped is a bit unfair.

I'll wait for feedback, but the full thing will be up during Wednesday, and you'll know the selected POV's early tomorrow.

Did Deirich drop out or just fumble his orders? If he dropped then I'm sure Lumine can determine a champion.

That'd be fine with me.

Oh, thank god, that was seriously causing a headache. I'll simulate that and then be able to move with the writing (it's been slow, quite a hectic week).

Actually, I'm very close to confessing defeat here, and I'm rather struggling with the whole matter. I'm not going to lie, I've been distracted with RL and other obligations and my realistic shot is during the weekend, and that in a context in which a lot of time has already passed.

I'll give it my best shot, but if I can get it done within a couple of days I may have to resort to something more drastic.

Tried to fight my way through, but couldn't do it.

A few days ago I mentioned a certain personal affair, and it has sadly grown in scope and effects (won't bore you with the details, but it involves my family and it has been very distressing to me), pretty much killing my motivation. It has even affected my RL obligations rather drastically, so while I hope things will work out I'm making serious efforts to keep myself on balance as it is.

I'd like to hear from the remaining players here and see their votes, because we have the following options:

1.- Continuation via a new GM
2.- Closing through an Epilogue with Player Input
3.- Leaving the scenario open (or frozen) for a sequel later on, either mine or from another GM

I think the problem is that if I turn over the info to Leonardo he would be later unable to play, as he'd know crucial info on the other player (the same applies to anyone who wishes to update or host). I'll leave the weekend for people to think it over on whether to volunteer as the new GM, so an informed decision is made.

For once, I won a battle against my depression. A surprise is waiting on the Gameplay Thread.

I think the idea is to pause it; too far away from a conclusion for an epilogue.

Indeed, as Leonardo noted the game is actually far from an end point given the current conflicts, particularly since a decisive battle will probably emerge to control King's Landing. On the other hand, while I did manage to post an update after a personal struggle it is clear I am still in no state of mind to continue hosting, and since the scenario remains interesting I think there's a lot of merit to pausing until a new GM emerges and the game resumes its course.

Instead of an epilogue and if the players so wish we might work towards a series of POV's to be released as a cliffhanger, noting what crucial characters are thinking or doing. This would necessarily involve several people writing, though.

Great to see it's a satisfactory solution, I'll make a list of what I might be able to write about as well so you know what POV's might arise. In the meantime, feel free to write or post!
