This is a horrific idea, the last thing this country needs is another inexperienced, celebrity, billionaire, president. I don’t care how Liberal she claims to be, in my view if Democrats take the low road and start nominating unqualified wealthy celebrities, then their no longer the party of the working class and are instead a Socialy Liberal version of the Republican Party.

Before I watched that speech I would’ve agreed with you, wholeheartedly. But I got genuine Obama-vibes from her last night. If she shows she has an actual grasp of issues foreign and domestic, I could see myself supporting her.

Oddly enough, one of the things Kander mentioned while there was that he'd like to see the voting age lowered to 16.  Will be interesting to see if he tries to take that into a presidential campaign.  Sounds like it might be a better gimmick than Chafee's support for the metric system.

Realistically a former state SOS and failed Senate candidate was never really going to be a viable Presidential candidate.

We’re living in a world where a reality tv star and known racist with no previous political experience is President. The game has changed, whether Dems want to admit it or not.

Kander is genuine, inspiring, and politically savvy. And no other potential candidate, save for perhaps Sherrod Brown, fits all three of those categories.
