Obama Schedule for Week of October 3rd

"I believe in an active Federal Reserve that will focus on driving down unemployment and protects consumers, but will promote a strong dollar and provide a competent environment for investors and business leaders. Ben Bernanke has done an excellent job so far."- President Obama at Press Conference

Obama Schedule for Week of October 3rd
October 3rd: White House Work
October 4th: White House Work
October 5th: Flight to Des Moines, Iowa and Speech on Economic Plan

"Folks, I'm gonna do something crazy. I'm gonna tell the truth. This intransigent GOP Congress has blocked and filibustered every proposal I've made to get this economy where it needs to be. Now we've made it far from where we were back in '09. We've stopped digging the hole. Now we've got to fill it back up. Both of our messages are clear. The GOP says: "He's had 4 years and he still isn't finished fixing the mess we've made. Put us back in and we'll do it." My message is clear: "In the past 4 years we've created 3 Million Jobs, ended that War in Iraq, Killed OBL, cut the defict by billions, and saved the auto industry. Now we're nowhere where we need to be. But give me a little longer and a Democratic Congress and I'll give you that chance that your family deserves. Help me win the race for the future."- Obama in Iowa

October 6th: Flight to Los Angeles, California for Fundraiser
October 7th: Appearance on Real Time With Bill Maher
October 9th: Flight to Washington, DC

OOC: As I no longer have a challenger, is my schedule necessary? I'll probably be at the WH 4/5 times a week. My campaign will really ramp up in January or so.

I'll also be proposing legislation to Congress that will create a Task Force at will investigate countrys's unfair trade practices. Excerpt from Obama Speech in Iowa
"I understand there's a few Republicans running around the state right now, trash-talking me. Well you know what. I've got a challenge for 'em. Let's debate. Me and Joe versus the Republican field. Why wait until October. The American People deserve a forum of discussion between the two sides. Besides, I've always wanted to meet Congressman Paul."- Pres. Obama

"Folks, I heard the GOP have agreed to debate. And to make matters worse, they think they'll win."- Biden

Obama Interview With Bloomberg
"Well, if there's any candidate on the Republican side that I like, it'd have to be Governor Daniels. He's just moderate enough to be some tough competition. He's a great voice of moderation for the party, and someone I'd like to see come out on top."- Obama

"Is that an endorsement Mr.President?"- Interviewer

"Sure."- Obama

Obama Schedule for Week of January 2nd
"Toledo, I think we're seeing a Republican Reformation. After the midterms, I was sure they'd field some extremist Tea Party Candidate. But it looks like they'll be going with a moderate like Daniels or Hutchinson. They will make this race even harder. Don't be fooled thou. Mitch served for years as George Bush's Budget Director, and had a major hand in our skyrocketing debt. Over my term, I've actually cut the deficit by billions of dollars, and the Budget Reconciliation Act of 2011 will cut it by a trillion more. But Senator Hutchinson, now there's a Republican I like. She's pro-choice, and proud of it. Too bad the rest of her policies are so atrocious. We can't let them take us back to where we were!"- Obama at Official Kick-Off Rally

1/2/2012
-Flight to Ohio
-Campaign Kick-Off in Toledo, OH
-Rally in  Cincinnati, OH
-Flight to Virginia

1/3/2012
-Rally in Alexandria, VA
-Rally in Newport News, VA
-Meet and Greet in Arlingotn, VA

"The Republicans drove our economy into a ditch. So we got down there, we put on our boots and we pushed and we shoved and we were sweatin’. And there’s the Republicans, watching us. They’re sippin’ on a slurpee. They were pointing at us, saying, “How come you’re not pushing harder? How come you’re not pushing faster?” When we finally get the car onto level ground, heading in the right direction, they see the scratches and shout to everyone, “Look what these guys did to your car!” And then they’ve got the nerve to ask for the keys back! I don’t wanna give ‘em the keys back. They don’t know how to drive!"

1/4/2012
-Flight to Iowa
-Rally in Des Moines, IA
-Meet and Greet in Iowa City, IA
"Tonight, Republicans across the state of Iowa will go to choose their nominee. Now, if you didn't know, Iowa is the state that launched my campaign 4 years ago. Republican Hopefuls will ask for you to so two things in November; One, forget everything they've done to hinder the recovery over the past four years and before that, when they caused the downturn. Second, they'll ask you for your vote. Are you gonna give them the chance to come back in and finish the job they started? Destroying what was once our thriving middle class with more tax cuts for the one percent?"

"You know what, Mitch is completely right when he says I enjoy saying for more years! And he's even more correct when he questions what those four years will be like; Gridlock, economic woes, unhappiness, and unemployment. And you know why it's like that? Because his party, the Republican Party has made it their foremost goal at making me a One Termer. They even went as far as holding the nation's financial stature hostage, just to prove a point. Over rage past four years they've done nothing but stand in the way of progress. I want the next four to look different. Give me a Democratic Congress. I'll give your family the future you deserve. A fair shot at success."- Obama Response to Daniels

"Look, I'm gonna tell you guys a little secret. Hopefully the Republicans won't take this advice to heart, but here's my thoughts on the race. Kay Bailey Hutchinson is the best General Election Candidate in the race. She's pro-choice, so she won't turn off female voters. She also strikes a moderate chord. She's got no chance at winning though."- Bill Clinton at Rally in New Hampshire

He was Bush's top economic guy, the head of the Office of Management and Budget. "I'm proud the President has finally embraced the sane position on Marijuana. And to respond to your question on what that crazy dude from Texas said, I've just got this. Shut the Heck Up. Look, Obama said he'd end the Wars and that's what he's done. But he's doing it in a responsible way. The last troops left Iraq last month and the ones in Afghanistan are set to do the same in Summer 2014. That's if the President is re-elected. Let one of the crazies on the Republican side in and we'll end up in the Mideast til my great-grand kids have grand kids."

"As Joe so eloquently put the other day, yes, I have decided that we should be looking to decriminalize Marijuana. There is no reason that Weed should be illegal, yet we allow Alcohol to be sold. It kills 75,000 people a year. Prescription Drugs kill 100,000. Marijuana kills 0. We'd save nearly 9 Billion dollars decriminalizing it, something at a rational Republican should be able to get behind. It will also create jobs, something the American people desperately need. We'd need workers to farm it, cultivate it, and sell it.

Now I know they're out there arguing "Oh this is a states rights issue." No it's not. The Federal Government has the authority to regulate it, as we've recklessly done with the War on Drugs. If we had the power to ban it, which Republicans support, then we have the power to decriminalize it too. They make the same arguement with Marriage Equality, another issue I've evolved on. If we can ban it on a national level, we can legalize marriage on a national level."

There will be a full debate this week, with 5-6 questions. This debate could make or break each of your campaigns.
Does Obama/Biden/Bill get to compete in this? We've been hitting the field over the head with calls for a debate. We could even do one of the "candidates question each other" ones.

OOC: I thought I'd pull a Reagan, y'know, his famous 1981 Address detailing the economy. Anyway, this will air on every cable and network station from 7:30-7:40. Yes, it will interrupt programs, but its a Thursday, so nothing's on.

Oval Office Address on the Economy
"In a few days, I will give the State of the Union. But I thought I'd give the American People a less formal session. In the next few minutes, I will outline what I've done about the economy over the past three years, and what still needs to be done.

When I took office three years ago, we were facing the worst economic decline since The Great Depression. Nobody knows that more than the hardworking Americans who were worse hit by it. Unemployment skyrocketed to a high of 10%. In one of my first acts in office, I passed the Reinvestment and Recovery Act, or the Stimulus as its called now. It was 787 Billion Dollars, designed to pump money into the economy and keep it going.

About 300 Billion of that went to tax cuts to middle class families to keep you being able to feed your families, and to small business to keep workers on the rolls and to keep them open.

Another 200 Billion went to relief of state an local governments to keep teachers in the classrooms, cops on the street, and first responders ready for anything.

About 100 Billion went to spending on infrastructure, to rebuild our country's crumbling roads and bridges.

And another 200 Billion more went to spending to keep Health Care costs down, to education and job training programs, and to help the energy sector to keep your bills down.

Now we've seen the Unemployment Rate fall from 10% to about 8% now, because of that program. But millions of Americans are sill feeling the pains of the labor market. And so I've introduced a bill to Congress to fix that. The American Jobs Act would provide money to state governments to hire more teachers and first responders, boost infrastructure spending to rebuild our country and compete with foreign investment, as well as provide further tax cuts to you. It would also seek to rebuild crumbling schools, and loosen a few regulations holding small businesses from hiring and expanding.

A majority of the US Senate voted for the measure, but thanks to a rule requiring 60+ votes to even debate a bill, it was stalled due to Republcian Obstructionism. Now I will make a simple request of you. Call your Congressman and Senator and ask him to pass this bill. This is a bill that could drop Unemployment back to pre-Recession levels and help millions of Americans. Thank you for your time.

Thank You, God Bless You, and God Bless the United States of America.
"

Obama Schedule for Week of January 11th
"Tell that Obstructionist, Do-Nothing Republican Congress to Pass This Bill. We can't wait on them. There are millions of middle class jobs at stake, and all they care about is winning an election nearly a year away. This bill will rebuild millions of roads and bridges. It'll put cops out there to protect those bridges, and firefighters to keep 'em from burning. It'll fix up those schools, falling apart. And it'll put Teachers back in the classroom. It'll provide job training to those that need it. Pass this bill, so we can move America Forward!"

Even a GOP Candidate for my job, my former Ambassador to China, agrees this is a good idea. Well the American Jobs Act provides funding for it. But a few congressional obstructionists, thinking like Scott, decided to block it's passage. Call Congress, and tell 'em to Pass This Bill!"

I might stick around a bit to help with negotiations. At least if Barack and Hillary says its fine. Nobody likes a backseat President."

Bill Clinton Interview With Ellen
Ellen: "Well what do you think of the Republican Candidates?"

Bill: "I don't like to cut people down, but I'll try. Mike Huckabee took over for me in Arkansas, and beat my Lt. Governor. He's pretty far out there on social issues and kind lead my state's race to the bottom on education. Kelly Ayotte's a Tea Partier masquerading as a moderate. Mitch Daniels was the guy who misforcast the cost of the Iraq War and squandered my surplus.

Ellen: "So you're supporting the President's re-election?"

Bill: "I'll work as hard as Clintonly possible to get him reelected. None of our predecessors, not me, George, 41, or Reagan, none of us coulda done better than he did. The mess he came into is gonna take at least a decade to fix. He passed health reform while nursing an economy back to health. We ain't nowhere near there yet, but we're getting there. The Right is raving on about how we need to cut, cut, cut. Well folks, look at Europe. They're near full blow Depression. Because they tried to cut their way to prosperity. It doesn't work. That's what's gonna happen if Daniels or Huckabee gets in there."
