Well, FN is doing this for years here in France and it works. Depressing is not enough to describe this.

Anyway, Jobbik now has dropped its support for withdrawing from the EU (which I assume means it has also dropped the crazy irredentist ideas of annexing areas of Slovakia and Romania). However it wants a a much expanded EU with the strongmen rulers to the East (surreally, Jobbik is a big fan of Erdogan and even Islamism, for unfortunately obvious reasons).
I know this has been a long, long time ago, but I'm genuinely curious as to why Jobbik now wants to expand the EU and why Jobbik is a fan of Erdogan/Islamism? These reasons don't seem so obvious to me.
"We could gain a key ally in Turkey against certain European groups under the influence of the American-Israeli lobby. The Muslim Turkey is more supportive of Christian values than those who are governing the European Union. I don’t think that we have to safeguard Christian values against Erdogan ; the danger lies with the Lisbon Treaty and with those who concocted it in a deceitful and anti-democratic fashion, including the socialists and Fidesz ... I accept our Austrian and Belgian friends’ different views on Turkey, but they too have to understand that we might hold a contrary view on the issue. Regardless of the differences, we still have to support each other in the struggle against the Lisbon Treaty. However, the fact that some nationalist parties in Western Europe join forces with Zionist umbrella groups when confronting Muslim opposition is a mistake." - party chair Gábor Vona
