The New Pony Thread

Hallelujah ! Finally I find this thread ! My home ! I'm still getting at the end of season 2 which I watch on Youtube where there are French subtitles, and so far it's pretty good though two or three episodes lacked a bit substance.

I'm so happy I'm not alone. My wife doesn't quite understand me on this...

Actually I'm still a bit new to this whole forum, and I hadn't come to the Off-topic board until just a few days ago. There are still some boards I have yet to discover.

What's your favorite Pony song so far ? I remember that in the very first episodes there were one or two worth relistening, and then there is the Super Squeezy Flim&Flam Cider 6000 song that is amazing.

In the last episodes though, it seems they force one song into each episode, and sometimes they are a bit boring.

The comics by the way are pretty good. Some guy brought them to work today. Very clever and a bit more mature than the cartoon, since the authors obviously know their audience is going to be adults. The plotline of the first series is about Queen Chrysalis returning and fillynapping the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and the mane six ponies out to rescue them.

Oh boy, did you really write "the mane six ponies" ? This is way too much, even from a fellow brony ! This makes me want to puke a little...

I still didn't see this new episode after the mid-season break. What do you say we try to gather round our five favorite episodes, in order to have them to offer to people like Simfan who are willing to try the show but don't know where to start ? He only watched the very last issued, and it doesn't seem to be anyway near the best so far.

I don't know if the cider is supposed to be alcoholic, but if it is so, Rainbow Dash sure appears to be quite the boozer...

On another note, I would like to hereby declare that as a grown-up brony well capable of getting and appreciating humor, sarcasm and irony, I am welcoming anyone, brony, hater or just plain indifferent, to make jokes in this thread in the form of pictures of dead horses, horse meat, or supermarket logos, or even anything else. If the jokes are funny, I'll laugh. If they aren't, I'll just skip to the next f***ing post.

And anyway, I really don't get why having horse meat instead of beef should be such a shocker. It's dead animal flesh either way. Let them go eat seitan if they're afraid of that...
