Despicable Me wasn't Disney; it was distributed by Universal.  Toy Story 3 seemed to end the series pretty well; why make another film?  And why is Disney still doing nothing for the 75th anniversary of Snow White?

But Despicable Me wasn't Disney... it's likely that's he/she is BS-ing. I do know another Monsters Inc. is coming though.

You're probably right.

Mediocre children's movies come out in bunches every year.
Exactly.  I love Disney but I hate how they are running themselves into the ground.  And I'm a 19-year old man.  I hate CGI animation with every fiber of my being.  It's cold, it's ugly, and the stories are weak.

Well, you can't judge a form of animation based on the fact that some stories are bad. Toy Story's good.
Agreed.  But that's much more the exception than the rule.  Toy Story 1-3 are the only CGI films I've seen that have anywhere near as good a quality of stories as traditional animation.

Perhaps Disney would consider doing a sequel to The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band?  It generally is considered to be a bad movie, but since the film involves political campaigning for Cleveland and Harrison in 1888 Dakota Territory, it might appeal to a few people here.
That or a remake.

Pixar's lost its magic in recent years, with the awful Cars movies and the just decent movie about the Scottish princess or whatever. They're at their best when making original stories instead of milking Cars again (which they only do because the merchandise has insanely good sales).
Pixar lost its magic after Toy Story 2, and only regained it briefly for Toy Story 3.  Other than that, most Pixar animation, like most CGI animation, has been awful.
