Perdue, interesting. I haven't thought of him as a potential presidential candidate.

It's kind of a long shot theory of mine but Trump based his southern GOP primary campaign on David Perdue's model. Perdue could offer the middle ground between Romney businessmanism and Trump businessmanism.

Ultimately I think Sasse gets obliterated, Rubio probably sinks, and Cruz leaves for some cushy think piece job and waits for a Supreme Court opening.
