If Kander wins, Missouri will have two very liberal Senators representing them, despite it being a quite conservative state.

Kander's liberal? I mean he's obviously more liberal than the NRA-endorsed Koster or Nixon, but those two are fairly conservative democrats.

Nixon's so conservative that he's lost multiple elections because African Americans would either vote blank ballots or outright vote for the Republican (I think Kit Bond won like 20% of the African American vote against Nixon when they ran against one another). And Koster is a former Republican and retains a solid chunk of those Republican stands.

one thing about the two major ticket Missouri candidates - they're both guys I didn't expect from their pictures to have deep voices. Koster in particular sounds like he's using voice modulation.

Nixon and Koster are real moderates. Kander is not. And neither is McCaskill for that matter.

McCaskill is a god blessed abnormality in Missouri politics and her voting record has been way better than anyone from Missouri should be, but I have been given no indication that Kander is left wing even to McCaskill's extent just because he's actually defending background checks, which is a policy that 75%+ of the country supports.

the first ad sounded like whining. Like a jealous ex-boyfriend who wants to win back the girl and the new boyfriend can play guitar very well, so the ex-boyfriend screams "ANYONE CAN PLAY GUITAR BRO"

I mean Bond would be considered a relatively moderate Republican now, but Bond spent a lot of his time serving with John Danforth, so Bond would be considered the staunchly conservative one.
