Trump voters actually seemed to be establishment voters - Trump did very well across the board with conservatives and moderates within the Republican party. Trumpist primary candidates have done very poorly in this cycle and even people who supported Trump actually supported establishment candidates otherwise on the primary ballot (see: Paul Ryan smashing Paul Nehlen to bits, Trumpist support for Congressman Bill Shuster, Renee Ellmers landslide defeat, ect.)
