I'm actually not that surprised that there is a high percentage of Sanders voters that would vote Trump in the general election - they are kind of stuck in the Democratic primary and as a result voting for their own "lesser of two bads" (and Clinton had that gaffe were she was honest about what would have to happen in West Virginia).

Hillary winning Youngstown, Ohio was a pretty bad sign for him. I also don't think the economic situation is as dire even in those areas of Ohio as it is in West Virginia.
